This is a great grouping of items from the US belt Buckle arrow style. Lead on back is stable but some of lead edges are missing. Nice US cartridge box plate. Remnants of the leather belt with a brass belt keeper. . And remnants of the leather ammo Cartridge box. It is marked J. Boyd & Sons, Boston Manufacturers of the Army Accoutrements. It has a tag that it was recovered at The Great Explosion at City Point,Virginia. Which took place August 9, 1864. Sabotage of Ammunition Barge. J.E.
