Civil War Infantry button. The face of the button has the spread-wing eagle with the "I" shield on its chest. It has Some original gold wash still present. The original back and shank are intact. It has the correct Civil War era "SCOVILL MFG. CO. *WATERBURY*" backmark. This is a great looking Civil War 20mm uniform button.
