This is a great piece! It is an original reunion item from the 1901 reunion of the United Confederate Veterans that was held in Memphis, Tennessee. It is made of celluloid and is in the shape of a scroll. This one has always been one of the most popular U.C.V. pieces out there because of the likeness of General Nathan Bedford Forrest in the center of the piece. Below his image it has the three Confederate flags waving and the location and date. This one has the original silk ribbon intact at the top and most of the time this piece is missing in action. The celluloid material has a beautiful brown milky color which makes the color of the inks stand out. Has a crack on the loops which can see in pictures. Still durable shape.
