Confederate Ambrotype 1/6th Plate

This is a cool looking Confederate Soldier Ambrotype image. It is the 1/6th plate size. It had a write up on this image that stated he was an Armed Confederate From Texas. The Confederate Soldier appears to be holding a confederate pistol, you be the judge. The barrel looks to be a round barrel. Looks to have a tinted frame buckle. the image originated from a Texas Estate several years ago. Light solarization at edges of mat but a clear image.
