Authentic Civil War Carbine Sling Buckle

This is a very nice dug carbine sling buckle. It has a rich brown patina. And has its original curve with a slight bend on one side. This buckle could be put on a belt and used.. It is that nice. And not only is this a super nice buckle. It is marked US and the maker marks are E.GAYLORD CHICOPEE. and T.J SHEPARD.
