The belt of this example is still in good serviceable condition being a dark color brown or black on the outside and brown on the inside. I don’t see any markings on this belt. The NCO buckle is a steel based example which has really good field green paint still on the surfaces. There is some wear to the paint on the edges and also on the high surfaces here and there but overall this paint certainly rates at real good The buckle is raised out with double roped circles. In the very center there is a Wehrmacht eagle looking to the viewer’s right. The details throughout this buckle are exceptional. This is a really nice rigging here. I do know that the rigging is great. One cartridge box has a makers mark and date. Bernhard Meyer Gronau (Hann) 1944. It World War 2 German Army. This is the classic style worn by the regular fighting men of the third Reich. This would have been worn by an enlisted man or non-commissioned officer. The face of the buckle has the smooth background. In the center of the buckle it has the army style eagle with the swastika. Around the eagle it has the motto "GOTT MIT UNS” which translates as "God is With Us”. On the back of the buckle it has the original keeper loop and the two "teeth for holding the buckle in place on the belt (Sold)
