Buckles and Plates - Confederate and Union buckles and plates
Beautiful Non-Excavated Civil War Eagle Sword Belt Buckle With Belt
Item #: CS525
This is a very nice Civil War issue belt buckle on leather. This was the style worn on the sword belt by Civil War soldiers. It has the words on the banner saying "E PLURIBUS UNUM". This is the style with a one piece wreath. On the back of the buckle it has the narrow hook for its keeper . Which tells us its an earlier belt buckle. It has its original keeper along with its original belt. All in all it is an attractive non excavated Civil War eagle sword belt buckle on its original leather belt.
The belt is very well marked with the maker and the inspectors stamps. E.Gaylord and the Sub inspector A.D. Ladley
Price: $425.00 USD (Sale Pending)
