This is a cool piece. It is a seven ring canteen. It is missing the cork. And the bottom ring is missing. It has light pushes on front and back in the centerof the canteen. But it has a clear makers mark on the pewter spout. HADDEN. PORTER &BOOTH. PHIL. This would of been a late war canteen. On Jan 7th 1864 the metal working partnership of John Hadden, Christopher Porter and George Booth was engaged to supply 100,000 canteens at a rate of 1000 per day.
