An imported M1840 Artillery Sword in overall good condition. The blade has a bright tone throughout with no pitting note, the edge is clean. It retains the leather washer. As you can see in the pics, the brass guard has a pleasing mellow patina throughout. The leather wrap is in good condition and is original as is the wire wrap.

The scabbard is present and is correct for this type of sword. It has no dings or damage that I can see. It has some surface build up but otherwise has a dark attic patina throughout. There is no throat and fits the sword like a glove.  And has the numbers 845.
