Edged Weapons - Bayonets, knifes,swords
British 1796 Light Cavalry Sword
Item #: CS471
This is a good example of the Napoleonic British 1796 Cavalry sword. It is was made from the famous Bates manufacturer. The leather grip is gone. But has its original wood insert that was designed to quiet the clanking of the scabbard and sword as it was being carried. the scabbard is in good shape but missing the throat at the top. The sword handle has one piece broke from the side. But displays very well.
